Welcome to my blog about the Outlander story.

My name is Roma Sars and I am of Indian origin. I met and married my Dutch husband in 1985, and live in the Netherlands with him and our two daughters. I have my own business, Amor Collections, where I design scarves and have them made in India.

I discovered the Outlander story by accident, through the show, in March of 2015. Needless to say, it changed my life in countless ways, and basically took it over. I bought all the books and read them within 3 months. I joined Twitter to connect with the author and the actors of the show, and with other fans.  I created my own Facebook group, to make it easy to communicate with like-minded friends. I contacted Diana Gabaldon to ask permission to make scarves with texts from the Outlander books, and started making these 2 years ago. I visited several fan conventions in Europe and met many of the actors of the show. I also had the pleasure of meeting Diana for a drink in Paris, in March of 2018, which was a dream come true for me.

I created this site to collect all my Fan Interviews and research articles on Real Outlander characters in one place, where they are easily accessible. I am also adding posts about my favourite authors as well as travel, which is one of my favourite pastimes.

Enjoy!
